TOWN AND COUNTRY

Town and Country Motel. Looks like a Caddy pulled up for take out at a rather unusual octagonal building in the parking lot.

This was earlier called Dayton's Motel Villas, with it's Town 'N Country Restaurant -- so called (presumably) because it was so far out of the city at Carling and Richmond.

The motel was built in 1943, and demolished in 1978 to make way for a plaza. The restaurant appears to have lingered on to at least February of 1980.
